Some flirting and pitiful attempts at that...

maybe... not many interested in me

wouldn't mind though...

That didn't make any sense did it? Sorry Michael.

(And casual might be fine. Anything was fine, especially when you were convinced you were nothing to anyone. Something was always better than nothing, however long it might last and wherever it might go. Long term wasn't a luxury for someone like him really if the past was any indication.)

Naw not sad-drunk just, maybe distracted-drunk? You were fine, no need for alarm bells.

maybe... few days left still.... might still get lucky.

I can do that... i think...

got a couple more days... something can still happen, right?

thanks and... sorry, for ya know... all this.

see ya... with a story
and a smiley emoji finished that off

Cuz what was more Connor than awkward Connor? That would be drunk awkward Connor. And putting up with Connor in any mode was a big accomplishment.

sweet. dont forget the mixer...

and campfire. good story needs campfires

and the other stuff...

At some point, the text message finally got sent, moreso because Connor eventually hit the send button at some point, rather than consciously ending the text before he finally passed out.
